This scholarship is funded in memory of Clyde Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a graduate of Bellaire High School and a member of the West Liberty State class of 1971. Clyde Thomas was an outstanding football player and spent time in the National Football League as a Philadelphia Eagle.
One or more scholarships will be awarded by West Liberty University to students who are a graduate from either an Ohio or West Virginia high school.
Requirements
- Eligible applicants must be a graduate of a high school from West Virginia or Ohio.
- There shall be no preferences to fields of study.
- Award recipients must maintain an academic record of “Good Standing” in order to retain the grant.
