In 1985 the Order of the Eastern Star established a fund to support scholarships for nursing students at West Liberty University. The Nursing Department was charged with developing selection procedures.
Requirements
A $200 scholarship is to be awarded annually to a recipient chosen by the nursing facility and the Academic Standards Committee.
Minimum Requirements for Consideration:
- applicants must be a senior RN-BSN (or BSN due to lack of RN-BNS students) nursing student
- cumulative GPA 2.6 or higher
- financial need according to FASA
