In 2007, the Lula K Collins Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by a bequest in her last will and testament. The scholarship will provide aid for worthy students enrolled in the School of Nursing at West Liberty University. Lula K Collins was born in 1910 in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha Williams Keyser and the wife of the late Clifford A Collins. Mrs. Collins was a graduate of the 1931 Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing in Wheeling, WV.
