NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL FALL 2026
BACKGROUND
This scholarship was established in loving memory of Robert “Bob” Theodore Dalrymple by his sister, Peggie Dalrymple Mueller.
Bob Dalrymple completed his undergraduate studies at Ohio State University and West Liberty University, earning his bachelor’s degree in 1974. He went on to receive a Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Dayton in 1981. Bob taught for the Buckeye Local School District in Jefferson County, Ohio from 1979 until 2007.
Bob had an intuitive understanding of his students’ emotional, social, and intellectual needs. Known affectionately as ‘Mr. D.,’ he was a trusted mentor and advocate, always available to lend an ear or offer guidance. His connection with his students extended beyond the classroom-he appreciated their music, fashion, and humor. When Bob’s life was cut short due to complications from chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), the student body of Buckeye North Elementary paid tribute to him by lining the streets in his honor.
