Message from WLU Foundation Executive Director

During this global crisis, we want you to know that we are thinking of you and your families. We are blessed to have generous donors, caring alumni and loyal friends, who have strengthened the WLU Foundation, especially over recent years.

It is unsettling to worry about the health of our loved ones and overwhelming to think about the economic side effects that COVID-19 will have on all of us. It seems like we are losing all we have built. But I know that can’t be true. We have each other and we continue to have a philanthropic concern for our neighbors and the world. We are tough — and so is our campus and our country.

In light of this crisis, the WLU Foundation is canceling the 24-hour Day of Giving campaign planned for April 2. If, however, you are still in a position to be generous, we are extending the opportunity to give from April 2 through June 30, 2020, which is the end of our fiscal year. You can continue to support the athletic or academic program you love and access matching funds by visiting our secure website or calling 304-336-5635.

Due to COVID-19, our programs and students will no doubt need support more than ever, but we are acutely aware that many others need support at this time. Please be assured that President Greiner, our staff, and our faculty are doing everything possible to keep our campus safe and to continue the quality education we offer during this unprecedented crisis.

Thank you to all who have and will continue to support our efforts. Our thoughts, prayers, and wishes for health and safety go out to all of you and your families at this time. Please feel free to contact me anytime with your questions or comments.

With gratitude and concern,

Angela Zambito Hill, Executive Director
