Andy and Linda Pasden both graduated from Wheeling Central High School before attending West Liberty State College. As college students, they were recruited to work for the government in Washington D.C. Andy, graduated with a degree in accounting and retired from his position of director of strategic and annual audit planning within the Inspector General’s Office at the U.S. Department of Treasury. Linda also retired from her position of traveling worldwide to check on the trade agreements between the United States and other countries.
One incoming freshman pursuing a degree in Business will be selected to receive an annual $1,000 scholarship.
Requirements: Eligible students must meet minimum requirements for acceptance at West Liberty University and have a declared major within the School of Business Administration. Students must have a strong work ethic which can be indicated with working with family business, family commitments, or by holding outside employment while in high school.
