Dr. Richard G. & Rebecca B. Stevenson Nursing Scholarship

Dr. Richard G. and Rebecca B. Stevenson, having followed careers in the health care field, have established this scholarship to assist a student in the School of Nursing with tuition costs at West Liberty University.

 

Requirements

The Dr. Richard G. & Rebecca B. Stevenson Nursing Scholarship has been created to provide scholarship opportunities for students enrolled in the Nursing Program.  The amount of the yearly scholarship is $1,000 at $500 per semester.

 

Minimum Requirements for Consideration:

• The student shall be a resident of West Virginia, meeting all admission requirements and accepted as a full time student in the School of Nursing BSN program at West Liberty University, and who expresses an intent to remain in West Virginia to work in the field of Nursing after graduation.
• The applicant must have a minimum GPA in high school of 3.0, and maintain a GPA of 3.0 at West Liberty University to be able to be considered for continuation of the scholarship awards.
• The applicant may be a rising freshman, sophomore, junior or senior, though no individual shall be eligible for the scholarship award for more than 4 academic years (8 semesters).
