Sara Jane Fritz Memorial Scholarship

In 2001, Sara Jane Fritz established an endowed fund called, “The Sara Jane Fritz Memorial Scholarship Endowment” through a bequest from her estate. Miss Fritz graduated from West Liberty State College in 1943 and taught school in Ohio County for more than 35 years. 

 

One or more incoming freshman will be awarded with $1,000 scholarship every four years.

 

Requirements

  • Eligible applicants must be entering their freshman year at West Liberty University 
  • Eligible for financial need
  • Applicants should have a high school GPA of 3.25
  • A score of at least 22 on the ACT or a score of 1030 on the SAT
